View Full Version : Honda badge
I know theres heaps of previous posts about how to remove the original honda badge. My question however is, how do you put one on if you bought a second hand one with no tape?
Do you just use normal double sided tape or is there something better?
Double tape just seems to be very unsecure for the people to steal. s there a special glue or something?
And what do people use for badges on their bonnet? Does using normal double tape damage your paint after a while?
Thanks guys

hey if someone wanted to badge your car..
would u want to make it easy for them ?
or harder for them?
i think both ways has its disadvantages
if its harder they might use a flathead to leverage it and damage ur paint
if its easy its just a badge..
:\
^ i fully agree wif bumography
i think double sided tape is best. easy to remove for u, and if a theif wants ur badge, they'll use anything to get it... double sided tape wont damage ur paint, but superstrong glue mite and may be hard to take off later. tape might leave like a sticky residue (like most tapes do) but u can easily clean the stuff off.
yeah double tape it is.. i sorta knew that.. jsut wondering if there are special types of double tape i should be looking at?

Try silicon glue, it won't damage the paint and it is harder to get off, i'm pretty sure that's what most of the badges are stuck on with. If ya gonna go doublesided tape then make sure you get a decent brand one. Scotch tape?
