Hi,I'm from Tassie and this is my first post. I'm trying to find replacement carpet (red) for my s2000. Someone must have done this as it's not the best quality and wears easily.

Carpet, I've spent hours on the net trying to find it. A company in china appears to make the carpet, but not sure if they form it.
Mats are easy every man and his dog has those!!!!!

Wreckers or brand new from Honda lol.

Or you can DIY but it won't turn out the best.

yahoo japanese auctions usually has carpets going for sale, but shipping will be hefty and not speaking/reading japanese makes life difficult.

i'm sure any auto-trimmer could make up a nice set of carpets for your car? i recently did a trim swap with another member here - his OEM red carpets actually had a new layer of carpet stuck over the top (the joins at the edges are hidden under all the plastic trims). the colour isn't exactly the same as OEM, it's a little brighter, but it looks fine. might want to look into that option.

Are the carpets on auction in japan new OEM type? A friend of mine just happens to be a Japanese translator.

The motor trimmer option is also good and a brighter colour red would match the seats better anyway I would imagine.

Too much. LOL.

There's usually some for sale around the traps. Give me a day or so and I'll find you a link.

Thanks for your efforts, Believe me I spent hours on the net! I'm pretty handy, I did a test with a piece of carpet and a heat gun, I 'm confident it would turn out fine, don't really have the time I'd rather pay, but if I have to, then so be it. If a car carpet co was to make it they'd do ok as no one makes it. All you need is a floor shell.
