Difference between the hatch, sedan and engine. Yours is a EG hatch though. There are different types of EGs, like eg6/9. It just depends on specs/engine.

EG, EH is chassis code for 5th generation honda civic. your one falls under EG.

Q2: What is the difference between EG, EH etc!
Based on what i've seen, EG are hatchbacks, EH are sedans.

Thanks

Interesting story by the sounds

Why did he buy it if he feels it is a shitbox? lol

Then after a difference of opinion he just hands it over hehe

Funny stuff

Even better question, why not test drive the car and see if it had the kick you want. Who forks over the cash without testing it out?

Haha, everything was done before he purchased it, but too him its just a shitbox that will take him to A to b he didnt want spend too much. During dinner these are the words that resorted in me ending up with the car :) "if its such a shitbox then swap?" lol.

I got to strip my "actual" car and start fixing it up :D

Thanks for your answers!

Hey again, Got a few more questions :P

Im planning on purchasing some new rims + tyres for the car and I was wondering if you guys could give me a few suggestions on color and size. I wouldnt mind a matte black color but id like to know what you all think.

I live in the western suburbs of Sydney so if anyone knows a decent place to buy them around there please let me know. :)

Oh and roughly how much they would cost too ? :P

teh car is dark-ish blue!

Thanks.

I think the term "shit box" is debateable. If it is parked next to a Ferrari, then hey people would call it a shit box. However someone who appreciates a good reliable Honda would think it is a great car. No real value can be put on a car, it is dependant on whether the owner likes it or not. As for modifications, I would suggest saving a few k and doing a swap for a B16A engine. VTi is a good base car for a swap since you got rear disc and that nice sunroof.

15-16" wheels, 7" wide 195/50 tires.

I think white would look nice.
