euro noob question! euro pre vs. post facelift

difference between pre and post facelift euros....Ok ive forum searched and can only seam to find info on the integra and civic pre and post facelift differences, so im just wondering what the exterior difference is between say the 05 euro and the facelifted 06 model, anyone have pics?. I've done a google search and the 30 pages of images still didnt help me haha :( . Cheers

I think the grill is diffitrnt,and new alloys wheels were introduced.

That was about all on the outside.

And also the hood is different as the pre-face has a chrome strip on it, lip kits different and also steering wheel + gear knob (not sure about manual but auto is different) oh and also the headlights different, clear -> light blue

Don't think there is a facelifted Kenstyle kit since it replaces both the grill and the bumper. As long as you replace both of them, then you can use the same kit of both the pre and post-facelifted models.

Thanks for the reply aaronng, but wouldnt the kenstyle kit look weird on a facelifted euro as it doesnt have the chrome strip on the hood to complete the kenstyle grill?

Yes, if you want the chrome strip, then you need to swap your hood to the pre-facelift version. I checked the Kenstyle Japan site and they only have the kit for the pre-facelift.

Ahh wouldnt want to do that much for just that kit, too much $$$! I've been trying to find info on prices of the Euro R/Sports kit but no idea how much these cost, i can only find the rear lip being sold from Jdmyard 2nd hand at 400, any insight on prices and where to get them? I heard dealerships rip you off, so wouldnt want that and JDM concept is selling it for 700 a piece!

The EuroR/Sports kit is Honda OEM. So if you are after the real deal, you will pay for it. Replicas are cheaper but they usually don't fit well without some cutting and grinding.

No it won't. The difference between pre and post-face lift other than the bonnet is that the strip in between the grill and headlights (which is part of the bumper) is thinner on the post-facelist. So if you want to use the grill of the post-facelift, you will need to replace your bumper to that of a post facelift as well.

With the standard factory grilles IMO the 2003 - 2005 looks better than the facelift 2005 - 2007. However if you replace the standard grille on the facelift model with a Sport or Euro R Grille then again IMO it looks way better.

facelift, most likely it was manufactured in late 05 but is a 06 model

How different are the bumpers/side skirts between pre and facelift? Found a 2003 euro at wreckers with sporty looking side skirts and rear lip. Front lip too damaged. Would they work on my 2006?

yes they will fit, they are all interchangeable. front bar will swap WITH the grill, (a preface grill wont fit a facelift bar), n vice versa. rear bar will swap. the headlights are the same dimensions, but the only thing (to my knowledge) is that the differ in the color shade that goes over the parker.

@BLKWLF the side skirts most prob will fit, the rear lip probably wont.

not sure about a lip kit cause with my driveway and all i'll scrape for sure so yeah thinking of trying to find 06+ front and rear to give it a bit of shape haha.
