Hi All

I have recently put in a deposit on a used 2003 Euro Luxury for 19K inclusive of stamp duty and 3 year Honda dealer after market warranty. The car has 65000 km on the odometer and has been serviced every 5000K/6 months - 80% by a Honda dealer (including last 5 services, last one done in June 2010). It has newish tyres and a full year rego/CTP.

As for the maintenance and condition, there were some scuff marks and dents which the dealer has fixed - some minor blemishes still remain. The interior is quite alright with rear seats hardly ever been used. The dealer has promised full detailing of the car before delivery.

What do you reckon - is it a good deal in Melbourne; I know that Sydney tends to get nicer deals so probably about 1500 cheaper.

Thanks!!!

I had spoken to this lady in NSW with similar kms and same MY - she was offering 17K as the lowest considering that Honda had offered her a 16K trade in - and this is just 2 days before she planned to buy her new car. Considering that I feel that it is diff to get an Auto with low Km for less than 18 drive away. Any thoughts guys?

doest matter now coz you have deposit it.. but for i think for 20k you can get the 06 model, when i bought mine, i fly up from canberra to qld with my mate n drive back 14 hours.. just like anything mate, if you after a good deal you have to work for it, do you maths, fly from mel to syd will cost you less than 100 with tigers airways and 400 should cover you food n pertol, n u saved 1000, this 1000 could nearly get yourself a set of coilovers, or a decent set of 17s

Well my experience:

A year ago I bought an 03 Lux with 17,000ks for $23k in Canberra.

Then it got written off and I bought an 05 Lux with 90,000ks for $20k in outer Sydney.
