hey guys, just a quick question to all the guys who boosted their cars using a d16y8 engine..
ive done my research so flamers please step away from the keyboard...
i would just like some local knowledge of anyone who has ported n shimmed their d16y8 oil pump..
im in the process of building my d16 n almost completed... my old oil looks fine n ive attempted porting it already... just wanna make sure if thats fine or should i buy another oil pump on the net thats been ported properly....
got mixed emotions about getting my car on the road again, its been 4 months since my cars been off the road (due to laziness) just pulled out my motor on the weekend... not looking forward to getting it tuned once the built motor is in coz im scared of the worst possible outcome...:eek:
so anyone had any success with this oil pump diy? n wat oil pressure reading are u guys getting?
