I have a Type S. Was wondering if a Type R's ecu is a plug and paly with my type s with no drama's at all?

Nope. Hence why Kpro needs a conversion harness, because it is a specially modified 02-04 ECU. If you modified the wiring and got an 02-04 ECU to plug in and the car somehow started, which it wouldn't, then it would throw a heap of codes because the VSS and primary 02 sensor are different. And possibly other sensors.

Jsut get the conversion harness, why risk headaches splicing and modifying wires and causing more dramas ?

Probably best to do a search on clubRSXx to see if anyone has got an 05-06 to run using an unmodified 02-04 ecu. I am not sure whether such a thing is possible. I doubt a stock 02-04 ECU will run an 05-06 though, and at the very least your speedometer won't work. Why so keen on an 02-04 ECU? Anyone selling the 05-06 Kpro conversion harness most likely has an 05-06 kpro too and they are unlikely to separate.
