Does anybody know what the black tubing is from the left hand side of the exhaust shield that goes the in carby intake on the d15b4 dual carby setup engine....i have looked all over google and cannot find it.!

Isn't that just called the intake? but its for a carby?

Def goes in to the intake??? Maybe its to stop the butterfly from freezing/sticking open in cold areas. Just imagine, cruising down the hwy and your throttle sticks. The warm air it sucks in from the heat shield will stop this.
