Cup Holders In An ED?

Hey guys n girls, ive been wanting to put some cup holders in my car for a while now and i dont want those crapy stick on ones...

now i was lookin at an EG middle console and my console (ED) now i rekon i can take out the bottom part which has the cigerette lighter in it and some how attach the Eg part.

Does this make ne sense and has ne one done this b4?

An option i did for my MR2 was get a single din box...
it fits in the CD player place exactly.. It has 2 cup holders and a money box..
quiet neat and only $50.

just put the drink between seat ands hand brake

i used to to that in my old ED... atleast that held large cups and water bottles unlike my EG

Yeah ive been doin that to....been thinking of putting one of those Non Slip pads there.....but cup holders are soooo much better....:D

maybe u could get those stick on holders but modify them to screw into ur dash. there also of wasted space above the glovebox

Inbetween the seat and the handbreak works nicely... especially with bucket seats + maccas drinks cuz u can mold them ^_-

Another idea.. a guy I know used like.. a whiskey glass... short but with a big base... you know the ones im talking about... and like.. super super glued it to the place where the EG Drink holders are found in VTi's, and used that as a drink holder... i never saw him use it.. but it was always there when i rode in his car..

go to www.automotiveforums.com - to the honda to the 4th gen section... people use an integra console which has the cupholders in it.
