Heater not working?

Hi Guys,

I have a 00 dc2r, I had my thermostat changed after the temp gauge wasn't showing the right reading, which I thought would fix my heater issue - to no avail.

Best way to describe what heater ON full blast feels like is when your having a shower and hot water is running out, its cold but theres still a hint of warmth.

Any suggestions?

As a side note, previous owner had a new head unit and sound system installed, maybe the heater core wasnt put on properly? If so does anyone have any DIY articles on how to remove the dash and get to the heater core?

Could be the temperature control slider no longer working or maybe the heater core itself

Check if the temp slider is still opening and closing the coolant valve in engine bay

Should be able to get at the heater core behind glovebox
