I do not much care about the brand as long as it is 5W-40 or 5W-30 and it should be on promotion or sale.
I am heard a lot of people saying that Royal, Castrol ... are better than ....etc.
I do believe in my mechanician that there is no big different if your car is not the luxury one with a certain standard of oil must be poured into the engine.

Back to your post, i just pick up the cheaper. :D (Some might scream at me u, cheap bastard)

I've been running Nulon without trouble for a while now in my euro and the car gets a flogging, both the 5w-40 and 5w-30 full synthetics are long life oils too, get 15k km's instead of the usual 10k km.

Out of those 2, i would say ELF. I generally use Royal Purple and Neo oils.

Nulon is NOT a higher grade then Elf, Elf has been engineered by Renault at LeMans for decades... No offence but Nulon cant match that kind of research and apply it to the extend that Elf does. Nulon is engineered here in a factory...

at the end of the day,, all oils have been engineered, there are companies out there who make same quality oils for different other companies,

but personal preference extra

thanks

The oils have a standard they have to meet and those are updated reasonably frequently.

It's all much of a muchness.

As long as your using a name brand with a preference to synthetic you'll be fine.

But I run Nulon because they are Australian.

Mine gets done every 7000ks, more or less saying that it is a longer life oil

Not that I think anyone should actually test it :/

How much is quicker?

I previously used Valvoline Durablend 10w40 and it burns pretty much the same a Synpower 5w40...
Back to FEO 10w30 now and it still burns the same...at least it doesn't burn quicker.
O.o

I'm over it..Simply use 5w/10w/30/40 weight oils in your Honda...I feel like i've wasted so much time testing half dozen oil. lol.

Stay with FEO or choose another popular brand, it's personal preference...changing the oil every 5000-7500km is more important.

Well ATM I've driven around 2000kms and have added in 500ml so far, 5w30 castrol used less, mayb 500ml every 3000k

Go back to edge 5w30...it seems to work fine in Hondas and many of us stock up when the 5L litre bottles are on sale @ $35-40

Prefer Elf. Been using it since for the past cars I've had and runs well, not much oil burn and reliable.
