CRX Del sol problems..

I am going to have a look at a CRX tomorrow. I was wondering what common problems they have? I have searched around and all I can seem to find is leaking targa roofs. Are there any major things that I need to check? Have there been any recalls on them?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Oil leak from VTEC solenoid seal. Identified by presence of oil leaking down from the top left of the engine head, down to the block where the head/block mate (where you can see the engine no. stamped).

Check oil.

Give it a VTEC on your test drive and see if there's any smoke behind you.

Gearbox synchros. Third gear is commonly crunchy, so do some high-rev gear changes to see if there's any unusual noise.

Thanks guys. :) How much is a VTEC solenoid seal? Had a look at it and the solenoid is leaking.

Like $20-40 can't remember. Unbolt the solenoid, swap the new gasket in, bolt it back on nice and tight. Drive it for 1-3 days, make sure it's tight again.

Google a DIY on it. There's a few around. It's too easy.
