Looking at buying a 2nd hand Euro

It is a 2004 6speed manual with 100k kms on it.

What should I be looking for other than the obvious? eg, specific problems with Euros.

I have read a bit on here and it seems there are problems with the clutch?
Also, when it the major service due, and what is done in the major service?
