2 issues identified

1:
Drivers side power window seems to be playing up. Goes down fine, but wont go up without a fight. Goes up a few centimetres then goes back down :thumbdwn: Takes up to 15-20 goes at getting it to go up... Relay sounds like its clicking overtime- can this unit be replaced without selling a kidney?

2:
door actuator. I purchased a replacement on ebay, but cant find instructions on how to remove door, install new actuator, replace door, admire, etc. Any links appriciated- i'd have a go but dont want to break anything

Cheers,
Mitch

the Power window might have a broken or loose contact in the button switch =D i had that problem when i took my door panel off for my speakers to get installed and i dropped the copper bit.. but lucky i found it lol

Try some teflon spray lube into the window channels of the sticky window.

if wire was loose or broken contact i would assume that nothing would happen? When i activate the switch it always goes up, but only a few centimetres then back down again.

i dont believe its sticking either as it goes up fine when it does finally decide to go up (after about 10 presses of the button)

I got that same problem with my euro and the drivers window, it's frustrating and embarrassing when people are in the car, but it's only happened a couple times..

Just take off the driver side door panel and check whether the rubber slide is siting properly. Sometimes it may come out from the metal slide rail and jam the window when it goes up.

I've got the same power window problem as yours before and got it fix by just push the rubber slide back into the place!
