Desperate HRV owner HELP!!!

Two months ago my Honda HRV suddenly lost "reverse". I sent it to our local Honda agent (I'm in Mauritius) who kept the vehicle for six weeks before returning it to me unfixed. It turns out they have never encountered a CNT transmission before.

I gave it to a private mechanic who identified a failed part. This was eventually found in Perth Australia and installed last week. It now works but only when cold. As soon as the transmission is hot - nothing.

Help Please as nobody can help here in Mauritius.

with the CVT trans, revers gear works with a planitry gear set and clutches, so its different to all conventional Honda Autos where reverse gets whacked into gear by a plunger, when you select reverse the clutch is ment to engage on the planitry gear set, and revers is engaged, a few things that can cause it not to engage,

sticky valve body.
damaged clutch pack or o-ring,

hope your mechanic used honda ATF coz CVT is fussy when it comes to that.
have you tried taking it to another honda dealer.
