i'm trying to install neons under the front parcel (in the footwells) without putting any holes in my car. i've tried using double sided tape but due to sydney's usually fine weather, it melts off and falls back on the ground. does anyone have any siggestions? (man that was so aussie)

Zip-ties, they can hold anything together. But if screw it to sumtin underneath there no one will ever see anything ever.

I don't understand the hard wire part sorry. But doesnt ur neon cum with a power converter which should prevent fuse to blow?

just wire them via the cigarette lighter.

Some neons have this power converter bit stuck on the actual cigarette lighter part. therefore you cant cut this off.

i've done hardwiring on my car, with a switch too! Getting power directly from the battery using a 10amp fuse, nothing blows

7 x 12"
2 x 6" bubbles

i will take some pics and post it up on the weekend

i use valcro hook+loop tape. use alchol to wipe the surfaces first before sticking it on.

if on the carpet area, i think i posted a thread b4 (http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthread.php?t=11706&highlight=neon), that i am using valcro hook+loop tape as well (I bought it from K-marks), but only using the hook side to stick on the carpet!

double sided tape are a pain to get off. they leave marks on the surface you pull them off from.
valco can be taken off easier without leaving any marks on the surface, if it doesn't stick properly, use some alchol/carubrettor cleaner to wipe the surface, use a lighter to melt the glue on the valcro a little and it will stick for ages.
