Engineering cost for 2 seater eg??

Im looking for a place 2 go 2, so i can engineer my car as a 2 seater.

Any recommendations?

It might be different with the RTA but Vic Roads says you don't require a cert. Vicroads - Removing, adding, & replacing seats (http://www.vicroads.vic.gov.au/Home/Registration/PermitsModificationsAndDefects/Modifications/RemoveAddReplaceSeats.htm)

I know with Vicroads you have to register it as a 2 seater once you've removed the rear seats

I dont think laws are that harsh in sydney in regards to removing seats, as long as all the restraints are removed so no passenger is allowed at all.

Would recommend getting an engineers certificate for the simple pleasure of having a smug grin whenever the boys in blue try to rag on you for it. Just keep in mind once it is engineered as a two seater putting the rear seats back in and carrying passengers in the rear is illegal even when its returned to stock form.

What about engineering 4 seater cars as 5 seaters? is that possible? say dc2r /dc5r with additional seat belt? Same deal?
