gutter rashed my rims.... any tipsof how to sand it back?

was at star city tryna win my pocket money, the carpark is just too tight , and i clipped my drivers rear wheel. Wanna sand it back. Any tips on how to do this?

Start with a low grit sandpaper to even out the rash - say 400 grit, then continue to wetsand gradually with higher grit sandpaper to smooth it out.

If you have bare metal wheels then you can go up to 2000 grit wetsanding to get a good polish from them afterwards.

If they're painted then you could go up to around 1200 grit just to get it smooth before you get it resprayed.

yeah and? car park was very tight and i clipped my rim..... not use to all this confined space in sydney.

How should i sand it? cos its only like 2 inches long... owuldnt it be weird if i jsut sand that aprt back? I guess i'll get my bf to do it

Post a picture of how bad the damage is. Otherwise try wheeltech, they are able to fix up damaged rims for a nominal fee.
