DC5S Turbo Timer

Hi guys

Is there a reason or benefits that I should install a turbo timer in a DC5S 05 model? Cause yeah it may help "protect" the engine but I guess is there a point?

Anyway sensible answer is just take it easy when you're nearly at your destination...
Like don't redline gears 1 and 2 up your road then turn into your driveway...
