My brake lights are always on??

YO!

Since yesterday, my brake lights just decided to stay on and never turn off even when the car is off. When the car is on its always on aswell.

Sooo wtf?

I didn't even do anything to the car!!

Any ideas guys? I'm driving without the brake lights/horn fuse so its always off for now, that way my battery won't die on me.

no idea.. but i think you should get that fixed cause someone will drive up the back of you if you got no brake lights...

sounds like your brake light switch has failed, sems to me stuck in closed circuit mode.
quick test with a continuity tester will tell you soon enough

Hey the same thing just happened to my 88 CRX.
I just had it fixed tiday at the auto sparkie in Perth (Welshpool).

Total cost was $70 for replaced brake switch and minor rewire of my numberplate surround lights.
