DC5R Shakey idle

Ever since i installed some Kiddracing race headers on my dc5r it seems to idle strange sometimes,
but the weird thing is on startup its fine only when the cars heated after a drive or so at random stops at red lights sometimes the idling is weird the exhaust seems to be shaking abit while sitting in the car you can fully feel the shaking its damn annoying, it doesn't happen all the time only sometimes ....

was told to get new engine mounts currently still running OEM would you say getting new engine mounts should accomodate for the race header applications? dont want to go upgrading engine mounts to find this problem still there, is this a common thing with race headers on OEM mounts?

any help would be appreciated guys!! :(

yeah thats right asoon as headers went on it started to happen ... was installed by professionals though

get new mounts... on my toda ehadeer.. if i dropepd it to 3rd.. there would be aknocking noise.... got aftermarket mounts, no drama;s!

you think energy sus mount inserts make any difference or bnew innovative mounts?
kinda on budgett after changing jobs :)

Just had a look at the headers. They are a two piece header without a flexi join between the 2 pieces... so they are considered a solid header.

The OEM headers are 2 piece design with flexi joints.

Here lies your problem. Get some stiffer mounts (Inserts are good) and the problem should be fixed.
