Gearbox help

i have a bit of a problem with my gearbox and wondering if anyone could help. Basically i replaced my gearbox this morning and i was told the box that i bought was from a d16 so it should fit my d15 no probs. So after bolting it all up i put my driveshafts into the gearbox but the shafts that go into the gearbox seem to be too small, they just spin and the splines don't grab. I think the box i've bought is wrong for my engine, am i right? Your views on this problem are appreicated, hopefully someone can tell me whats wrong. Thanks

the box will fit coz ther both D seires engines, a D16 would have beefier drive shafts though. so the inner joints will also be beefier thats why your s are too small.

Thanks mate. Oh well i will try and get some d16 shafts and see if that will solve my problems
