Rear Lip Fittment

hi,

Just purchased a rear lip for an ej8 and was advised by selling that i would need to use screws to fit it. What type of screws should be used also would it be worth using dbl sided tape?

don't use double sided tape unless you want to lose your lip somewhere

self tapper screws would probs be your best bet

Long self tapper screws will work. You can also custom order tamperproof screws to stop it from getting stolen.

Make sure you mark the holes on the test fit, its a 2 man job. Let the lip sit in the sun or heat it to help reduce retarded fitments.

You can use dbl sided tape as extra reinforcement but it might be a pain in the ass later if you take off the lip

the lip is a second hand lip so would i still need to leave it out in the sun?

winter sun is probably useless but heat it if its badly out of shape when you try fit it. Its a second hand lip so it should be easier to fit.

ye has holes already drilled in it.
