Who has used the k&n cold air intake system? I'm just about to spend $350 and order the fipk from the states. From what I've researched it seems to be the best and most reliable kit for that price range. I was just wondering if anybody had any other suggestions for a cold air intake system as good as k&n in a similar price bracket?

I think its very good for the price, I loved mine, only removed it because the koyo radiator interfered with the intake housing. Great sound.

NVD52K you obveously didnt click the ebay link? :P

its not the typhoon model. Ive heard their not as good? Aparently theirs slightly less gains (not that your really expecting much in the way of gains from COI anyway) and you run the risk of hydrolock as well depending on weather conditions

oh sorry man, lol i had one an didnt have hydrolock cause my plastic splash tray was covering it, it sounded good and couldnt get defected cause it was blocked off, if you want to gain power from a quality intake the password JDM is the way to go man ;)

Password jdm has massive fitment problems and they no longer make s2000 products.
