View Full Version : 2009 Accord V6 Luxury rear number plate holding nuts.

Has anybody else had a problem with the rear number plate nuts shearing off from the boot lid?
Last week one just snappd off.I glued it back on.Didn't last.Now they have both sheared off.
Probably should just take it back to the dealer and get it fixed under warranty perhaps.

I reckon I solved the problem.Removed boot lid carpet.Pushed number plate holding screws through the boot lid holes.Put broken off nuts on the inside of boot lid.Tightened them and put a bit of thread locker on each one.
Better than original!
