Hi there all,

My name is Trevor and I have recently (May) taken delivery of my third Honda. This time a fabulous Silver 2011 model Accord Euro Luxury with the 6 speed manual transmission.

This would have to be just about the best car I have ever owned. The build quality, fit and finish and quality of the car is oustanding.

The only thing I found I wanted to do with it was to update the sound system. Although the factory system isn't bad, I found that those all plastic speakers in the doors and rear shelf were just awful. So I have recently just completed a full replacement of them with a set of Focal splits, coxials and a Focal Amp. I will detail this in my first detailed post in the Accord forum, so look out for that.

Cheers.

Oh, and for those that notice, my avatar is a picture of my 1968 Cooper 'S' mini

Cheers Deano, and thanks.

Have just posted deatils of my sound system upgrade. I have lurked on these forums for ages and have found a lot of useful info, so I hope I can help return the favour to the community.

Welcome Just Right,
I bought my first ever Japaneese car,and Honda product on the 24th of May,so our cars are close in age.

A MY2011 Accord Euro base model, automatic to replace a much loved MY2007 Volkswagen Jetta which was written o0ff by the hail.

I was not planning on changing cars for a few more years, but looked at everything on the market, and really fell in love with this.
It truly feels like it belongs in a class above,a very classy, classic car.

I have had a few niggles,but have done 3900 kilometers,and LOVE it.

Cheers antony,

I picked up mine on the 30th of May, very close indeed to yours.

I have had many, many cars over the years from manufacturers including BMW, Subaru, Renault, BMC, Mazda, Ford, Holden and Honda. In my opinion the Accord Euro is one of the very best that I have had. Admittedly some people have had some trouble with the CU2's, but I personally have no complaint.

The Euro is my 7th car,and I am lucky, they have all been brand new.

4 Volkswagens,1 Foed,and 1 Holden...and now A Honda...YAY.

My family have also had lots of Toyotas,Audis,Mercedes, and BMWs,but I am hoping this Euro will be the best of the lot ???

Very high expectations....
