Noisy Coupes ?

hey..just wanna know if ANY owners/pre owners of civic coupes, either the vti/Vti-r are noisy.

i know a friend thats gotta funny rolling noise in the rear trunk.
in addition, heard that coupes came out with a slight fault with faulty screws and a really weak/creeky chassis ?

Also, if u do have/had these noises..did u/how did u fix them ??

the only noise mine makes are fromthe jarring of the bonnet pins...other than that i can only hear my exhuast hehe

Supposedly the rear boot creaks haven’t heard it in mine. Mines quiet as a mouse. I think the creaking noise is supposedly the two bars/springs that make the boot stay up when you have it open. They are directly under the parcel shelf you can’t miss them.
I have no idea what the rolling noise could be.

i was talking to someone with a hatch, he had the same sound and hes dilema was due to his exhaust. something about it not sitting properly.

I have a coupe and it makes noise at the rear. Even driving on a smoooth road I can hear it, but far worst when driving on rough roads. Apparently it under the rear seats.
I have no idea how to fix it though.:(

the only noise that comes out from my coupe is the exhaust which has a crack on the muffler and sounds cactus. Besides that, no noise at all.

I've got a noise coming from my door trim. The lock seems to be slightly loose and it makes a noise once in a while. Otherwise the only noise i hear is the Vtec kicking in.

I have the exact same problem, but it's not from under the rear seats - from the back.

u also 4got the noise wen ur car drops, sounds like all ur wheels fell off n the chassis jus crashes 2 da ground... :D :D :D

when i first got my car brand new...i had a sqeeking noise from the rear wheel only when i go up my driveway, it was something to do with the suspension or springs...but it went away after 2 weeks

Ive got the same noise with the rattling lock when its unlocked.. SO annoying.

lol twisted!! i fixed my exhust...l'm not too sure bout the rollin round thingy...

with the seats, heard also that there are drilled holes under the seat which are cracked/week which results in creeky noises when going onto ramps on angles, while the chassis is flexing.

i know that the coupe is a two part chassis, but does anybody know that when they were made in the U.S, that they didn't weld the joints properly like the japs do ??
