View Full Version : **DIY ek9 light problem***

Hey guys
I did the rear ek9 lights on my EK1. When parkers are on all 4 lights up.
But when pressing the brakes the bottom right light completely turns off.
The bulbasaur are fine , not sure what the problem is.
Ive tried switching the bulbs same problem happens, any help much appreciated guys/girls.

think u put my name were u ment to put the word bulbs :]
You connect the wrong wire.. switch other other wires around.. leave the red (I think) as is.

The bulbasaur are fine , not sure what the problem is.
LOLLOL i think you gotta run an extra write, not sure. check the diy ek9 taillights on the forum.

im not sure how it happend, but the lights were working fine for 2 years then one of the bulbs f'd up so i went to change it and this happend..
any1 had this experiece b4? im guessing there might be a problem with the bulb holders.. gna try replace em.. see if that works

Yea i had that problem the first time i tried to do the DIY with no brand cheap bulb holders. So i went out to buy new bulb holders and works like a charm now. However try switching the wires to see if that works first.
