depending the the workmanship on spacers. u want spacers that sit on your hub not your nuts.
but regardless voids insurance if u do decide to run them.

Although ive heard that js racing make very good quality spacers, it is still a slip on spacer instead of a hubcentric spacer, is that right? According to the picture....
So will these put excessive strain on my wheel studs?

You need to make sure the spacer presse on/in to the hub or wheel properly. If there was some scaling or excess dirt in the wheel bore or on the hub extension, the spacers or wheels may not be seated completely and your torque may be inaccurate.
Also, you have to make sure you have the right hubcentric spacers when installing those aftermarket spacer. If not, most ot them will cause virbation when high speeding and/or hard braking.
Hope could help :)

True, but then, isn't that the same case in regards to any 'un-roadworthy' modification. Which, these days is pretty much 95% of mods...
