Hi all,
After much researching, it looks like the Alpine SPS600C is the most used speaker to replace the disgraceful front speakers.
I am wondering if anyone uses any other speakers that is a straight replacement. So the guys who run low sensitivity or high power handling front components, this isn't the question for you.
So, what front speakers did you guys use to run off the factory headunit/amp?

Is that for Cl9 or CU2?

Are the tweeters working as well? As I though the headunit/amp split the frequencies itself, as you'll find there is only a mid in the door and tweeter in the dash.

the head unit is same as any head unit, the front speakers have there over crossover so the tweeter only plays high frequences, the woofer i changed with the new 3 ways has full range and the tweeter still works as it should

Ah I see why you are able to use co-axials in their full range.
The signal the stock amp sends out to the mids are full ranged. I thought they may have only had a mid-range frequency because they had a tweeter to cover the higher frequencies :)
