Dc5r selector shaft!

Hey guys/girls, just wondering if anyone out there has had any problems with the selector shaft locking bolt/bearing? Coz the selector shaft bolt in my dc5r gearbox has given way and stripped the thread out of the selector shaft itself. Ive called honda but they've never heard of such thing happening in the dc5r..so just wondering if anyone has experienced this problem before or can help me getting it fixed.
