Ok whats the best value. and well CHEAPEST lol

I drive a Honda Integra i have a b18b engine in there with a ys1 gearbox.

-Rebuilding the motor?
-Switching to B16 Vtec Engine (not sure which one but one of them is a straight fit i believe)
-Changing a bottom end or the head to a different particular one

p.s. im no mechanic theres not much i can do myself so please include and est. labour price along with parts.

So yeh opinions?
p.s. i dont care about Aircon so dw about that sort of shit. I just need info on engine/gearbox/radiator/wiring/labour :)

the best and cheapest option.

Best upgrade IMO is a B16A or B18C gearbox. The new gear ratios and final drive will make your engine accelerate faster, as this is the achilles heal of the B18B. Then add some simple CAI, header, cat and exhaust and you'll have a very entertaining car :)

S80 GBox from a JDM B18C with a 4.7FD would be best. About $1500 +/- to buy the box alone, but it's very awesome.

I rekon best bang for buck would be to source out a complete B20B8 non vtec, make sure you dont pay more than 500 for it, swap your intake manifold etc nessesary parts and mate it to a B16A, B18C, B18CR gearbox and you will have quite a good package for less. For better sure of mind and more mod capability in the long run , add ARP rod bolts which will allow the engine to rev higher safely. Then later all you will need is the B16/18 head, water/oil pumps, VTEC conversion kit, ECU and your good to go for B20VTEC if you wanted.
