Hi,

Just wandering if anyone has ever attempted/completed an alarm installation on their S. I've just bought myself a cheap alarm with remote start etc (+ bypass kit), just wandering if anyone has any tips etc before I tackle it over the weekend.

The biggest thing I'm worried about it probably the door locking mechansm, as I have "read" that it's a different type and it requires a relay to make work properly, unsure if it's USDM models, but my S unlocks both doors with the "unlock" key.. Everything else seems to be straight forward.

Any diagrams, wiring codes etc would be appreciated!

P.S. Unless you have done it before and wouldn't mind some quick cash, more than happy to be refferred.

Peace.

Anyone know any more about our "5 Wire Reverse Polarity Door Locks" system... I want to know if relays are only required on one side (driver's side) to get the proper outputs from the alarm module before I go and tackle it over the coarse of this week...

Surely someone has installed their alarm themselves?
