Got a timing light for xmas. exciting stuff I know. Anyway. Tried to adjust it yesterday. All I had was an ed crx shop manual though. I thought you had to block off the vacume advance and then check the angle. It said you had to short two wires instead of blocking the vacume advance though. So I'm confused. Plus blocking the vacume advance didn't seem to make a difference to the angle on mine. I have a 94 eg breeze so I know that not much is the same as the manual I have, but do I have to do something similar instead of blocking the tubes? thanks.
