recommended engine oil for ek1 civic?

Heya guys & girls,

just want to know what engine oil is recommended for 99 Ek1 D16y4 engine? i was looking at Penrite semi-syn 5W-40 (HPR 5) and also 10w-50 (HPR 15).

100% synthetic is the way to go. Im using castrol 5w-30 atm, as your motor gets older, say past 150k kms approx upgrade to a thicker one 10w-30 -40 etc. You'll feel the difference
