Hey guys i was a victim of a hit and run a while back from the rear, replaced the rear bumper the day after. Now the rear bumper sits roughly half a cm on both sides were they meet with both rear quarters.
Now i finally took it off to show some pics of the inner and also how it sits on the sides.

Any help would be greatful because this is something that kills me cos i would like my car to be clean and this is depressing.

have you tried using bolt and nut + wide washer to tighten rear bar to chassis? instead of using that hard plastic thing.

that sucks.

even if you make the bumper to the chassis i think where the light area still have a gap .

might be that bar in the last picture isnt straight . (the one on top of the exhuast)

I wouldn't use metal bolts/washers.

Next time if it gets hit, it would keep pushing it and rip into the fender well.
