Ek9 double din console

Just wondering if anyone knew if ek9 double din console is hard to install? A lot of wireing needs to be done?

has anyone tried this?

From what I've read there is a lot of re-wiring involved = A lot of effort

But I think it's worth it. The EK9 console looks so nice.

its more than that from what i've been told our heater module and shit like that needs to be changed as well as with the 96-98 prefacelift console is manual to change from hot to cold and so on. as for the facelift its all knobs all done auto by electrical. I've been quoted around 600+ just to get that console in up and running properly. so its a MASSIVE JOB gotta rip out the whole dash and do a bunch of shit i dont actually know any1 who has done this conversion. Only know people whos changed over to the double din console but did not connect the heater nor a/c as it was just for looks.

p.s they've removed the a/c from the car anyway.
