Amplifier not working PLEASE HELP !!

hey guys i've been searching everywhere but duno whats happening... i have an amp that seems to recieve power for a split second the lights blink on then it goes... any ideas? does this mean the amp is history..? ( MTX audio amp 3400watt ) my mate told me it might just need a service.? is that possible.. soryy noob questions but i know nothing about it.. CHEERS !!

if it turns on and the light blinks off u either have a bad amp or a bad ignition

buy yourself a 3 dollar test light, check the fuses in the amp, check the fuses from the battery, check the radio fuses, check if its got power, check if the grounding has come off, check if remote wire still hooked up to the head unit, check if rcas have been dicked around, check if there looks

hey mate cheers for the quick reply i did all that battery testing theres power running through the actual unit and when i connect a diff amp n sub to the batery it works just this amp wont work the fan on it twitches with initial touch. im gona take it to a car store now ill let u guys know how it went. hope it aint dead man or i got CONNED!!

well i gave them the MTX amp and they said it would take 4-6 days. if its under 140 buks there gona fix it over it and there just gona quote..
