I'm going to do my 30,000k service next week. and I called up a 3 dealers so far, some quoted me $300, and some only $200. (btw I'm in Syd)

I know some dealers like Rick Damelian does a great job, so they are more expensive. but just wondering, if I pick a cheaper deal, would it make a lot of difference on the quality of the service?

I want to go for a cheaper, but if there are huge differences then I believe it's better to go for a more expensive one with better quality..?

Anyone has any experience or any thought on this...?

Thanks alot!!! :)

yes it makes a difference but not the pricing in relation to (Honda dealerships). You may get an apprentice working on your car or a qualified mechanic, mind you the 30,000km is a minor oil change correct? Either way you get a stamp and the oil gets changed with the filter so really it's hard to stuff up.
Few cases of filter gaskets left on block and leaking and once someone forgot to tighten the sump plug, both cases the dealer takes responsibility and pays for the towing and any damages.

Doesn't matter what way u look at it, it's a lot of money for an oil change especially if you live in the city & do it every 5000km
