I put some mesh into the grill on my euro this week.
I uploaded some pics into the accord gallery http://www.ozhonda.com/gallery/showgallery.php?cat=508 (http://www.ozhonda.com/gallery/showgallery.php?cat=508)
why can’t I load images into the message????
I was happy with the job I managed to do, it all looks pretty neat.
I think the small strip of mesh on the front lip might make the car look visually lower. I’m also installing some LED’s in the side sections (still working on this though)
I'm still a little undecided on whether I like the look or not though, what do you think? Keep it or scrap it?

Looks good except for the extra bit under the front lip, I would scrap that.

The Mesh Looks Good...Keep It...
I think this looks good. Agree - the bit hanging from the front lip has to go
Two questions - how easy is it to do this and how much did it cost?

Looks quite nice...
But i don't know having silver mesh makes it kinda look rice. Defintely get rid of the middle bit of mesh that is poking out of the bottom of the bumper..
Maybe should have put black mesh since the front grill is still black....

Hmm, thanks. Think I'll leave it a week and see how I feel about it. I was thinking about black too, I have some mesh left over I will definatley cut out another piece, spray it black and see now that looks.
Total cost for this was about $45. $30 for the mesh (supercheap of similar) and about $15 for the edging/trim (clark rubber) there are heaps of different types of rubber trim, this one has steel inside, so it stays on tight and is also designed not to kink when bent on a tight radius.

Yeah. Definitely get rid of that bit at the bottom. It looks like an unfiinished job like that.

I wonder what it would look like with just the center bit and foglights??

I would paint the grill to match the body colour if possible, or just paint it black.
What would look really nice is mesh with bigger gaps (as in no so closely spaced). Make it look like the Audi grills, and paint it black.

Good job. As the rest have said, paint it black! Tell me qmjona, how did you fit the mesh on your car, glue? screws? Thanks.

pah don't like the mesh....to me it doesn't suit the car ...the car is classy and i think stuff like that cheapens it....on the other hand i was thinking of colour coding mine and fitting the front lip..what do you guys reckon

The large section is a tight fit and tucked up behind the number plate holder (which I cut back to suit). The side pieces are also a tight fit, and secured with cable ties. They are fixed to the back of the edging so that they are not visible.
I'm leaning toward painting it black, I'll take another picture if I do.

looks good but i think black or darker color like your cars would suit better. are cable ties same thing as zip ties.
I wanna buy some mesh for my jazz, got heaps of stone chips on radiator so thought this might be a cheaper alternative other than buying a carbra but at almost $400 i could spend that on something else on the car
