just got some new rims is it possible to tell what specs the rims are by looking at it? and how do you know which spec tyres are needed to fit them?

and how are you meant to find out how much % tread are still on tyres?
cheers

there should be a small arrow indicator on the side wall of the tyre pointing up towards the tread showing where the tread will end, this will give you an idea on how much tread u have left.

Specs should be written on the inside of the rim, probably on the spokes.

If you want tyre sizes look them up on the web.

look on the inside of the rims ( reverse side )

might say like 15JJ6 or something like that 15 for 15 inch and 6 for the width

would cost you from 5 to 10 bucks a wheel to change a tyre.

does it mess around with the tyre in anyway? is it worth doing or is it stupid

not really looking to pay few hundreds for new set cause current tyres seem great still

no i dont think it would damage the tyres, as they have thier tools , and also that price should be fitting and balancing the wheels and tyres too .
