Hey guys was just curious what this part is for? only because i'm not sure if it is a loose tubing?

that plugs into your steering rack boot.

yeh its an air hose, but no idea what it does hahah.
usually on the boot it has a little nipple that the air hose attaches too, cant see it in the picture but it could be hiding the hose.

yea should be in.
i think what it does is, it makes air pressure inside rack boot even.
when you turn right, the right s.rack boot compresses and channel that compressed air to your left s.rack boot.
found out when i was swapping steering rack the other day.

I am unsure how to put it in? any ideas?

hahah push it back in? theres a small nipple on your steering rack boot.
the hose is tightened by some sort of spring clamp. similar to radiator hose oem spring clamp, but weaker.
more like a wire spring type clamp.

edit: if your rack boot dont have nipple/cant see, try turning over the rack boot, the nipple might be underneath.
or there is none there, umm.. dont know.
