Fuel Pump Wiring On EFI conversion

Hay Guys My Breeze Motor And Box Are Dieing So Looking for a Cheap D16 to stick in there
i know most of the stuff involved with The EFI swap

but my question is insted of geting a hole harness for the side of the car for the fuel pump can i just pin my own wires in to the ECU plug and get my auto elec to run them to the fuel pump what issues could there be with this?

better you get the whole harness, you dont want problems in the future....but if your confident of doing it your way go for it, but remember it will take longer if things dont get done right...

as above, you could go with the auto electrician to make custom wiring but just a whole lot easier to get the loom.
since ur gonna need a new ecu (dseries) just get the loom for it.

Absolutely agree. Been there and struggled with that before.

You will need a new ECU especially if you go with D16Y1 SOHC VTEC D Series engine.

The fuel pump wiring links from the pump to the under dash fuse box. But even before it gets there it ends at a junction plug that is tucked away under the driver's side dash.

So get the full wiring - it's not that hard to find but will require searching. Just keep your eyes open - they do come up here and there.

One option is to do what some of us have done (myself & markismaximus come to mind) to get the engine just buy a wreck. That way you get everything you need including all the wiring and fuel system.

u see i have a low ass budget only reason the conversion is taking place is because my engine is dieing and thourgh might do vtec swap for betta resale price later on

off topic any1 know where to get dseries in good nic these days ? low Km etc bseries has just taken over lol and its still bit to expansive for me lol
