OMFG!! So I was sitting here just flicking through the owners manual for my s2000.

To my utter and complete sheer luck I open to the page and read the text saying "Your Honda has 2 compartments". I read it and was like WTMF?

I did not know in the 6 months I have owned my s2000 that there is a second glove compartment that is located above the one in between the seats. OMG

I am stunned, I just went and checked it out and its pretty big! I am so relieved and psyched.

My question is how many of you actually knew that there was 2 compartments? As in another one besides the obvious one?

OMG WOW

LOL thats the thing I made sure the guy showed me where the fuel cap release, in fact 5 times while I was inspecting it.

I am cheering now I can actually put stuff in the car and not in the boot! PEW PEW

lol. I sometimes wish I got to find out about the hidden compartment by suprise like so many other s2000 owners. I read about it before I actually bought the car. The fuel cap was what got me! I sat at the service station for quite a while, looking like a dickhead trying to find it until I decided to get out my owners manuel and search for it..... then after finally finding it this guy walks upto my car laughing and tells me he used to own an s2000 and went through the exact same thing when he first bought his..... smart ass prick was standing there watching me the whole time to see how long it would take me lol

i had it worse. i picked up the car and it had no petrol in it. well the owner said there was enough to get to the petrol station. there wasnt :P. it stopped a few blocks away so i had to jump out and walk there and get a 5l jerry can and come back to the car and figure out how to open the fuel cap.

this is a bit off topic but im getting new rims. probably Enkei GTC01s. Is it better to get staggered sizes or same all round? was thinking Front 17x7 - Back 17x8. i think its better to get 17" over 18". unless you guys have a better idea :P

one day and 6 months after i brought my car... wen i was cleaning my car at work..dont ask why lmao
i was cleaning the interior with a cloth and accidently pressed the top of the glove box thing and bam, a new compartment was there.
i got so excited i rang all my mates 2 tell em about it rofl
and the day i got the car, it took me 15 minutes 2 find the fuel cap release.
im at the petrol station lookin for it and this guy walks up 2 me n asks if i need any help. turns out his cousin just brought an s2k n couldnt find it either and he found it like 5minutes before i did. so he told me where it was over the fone

Do ya think he sold it because he couldn't find the petrol cap release? ;)

I found it after I read someone mentioning hiding their "dirties" in there from s2ki. lol I still can't get over why the S2000 doesn't have any sliding cup holders nor a glovebox at the front, where the driver doesn't need to look funny reaching for his wallet...........

Because they had mountain passes in mind when they designed it not McDonald's Drive Thru's.

Earlier models didn't have a "clock" too, I guess they designed it so well that when your driving the S2000, it's timeless! :D

I remember a review by a british journalist in Evo magazine bemoaning the lack of an outside temperature gauge. I responded "You're in England. It's COLD!".

Its more of a necessity to know if it is actually below zero due to black ice on british roads....

It took me like 10 minutes to find the fuel lid opener when i was at the fuel station, lucky i had a friend there to help me look LOL!

Found the secret compartment as soon as i opened the regular compartment though.
