o2 sensor

hey i just noticed after rought idle that mu o2 sensor on my extractors was melted and frayed.... i soldered it back to gether and put tape to seal it again.... i was just wondering if i need a new one seem mines freyed and been repaired???????

ecu will soon tell you if you didnt do a good job fixing it. otherwise as long as the wires dont get hot again. you should be OK. try to get them away from the pipes as much as you can with out puting strain on them.
