need helping in picking what transmission

just looking at carsales and i dont know what to pick auto with paddle shift or manual?

i drove my brothers missus jazz vti 2003, and its auto with 7 speed button. i liked it until it lags when it takes off the lights. i was thinking is the 06-07 automatic more responsive then the older versions?

ye the 7-speed lags at the beginning...IMO...just IMO that's not how you use the 7-speed button..lol
it's only useful in acceleration (not at the beginning tho if you know what I mean)... so like you want to go through the yellow light...you floor it then press it...that's how the 7-speed works...
just IMO tho.... well maybe you can find an 06-07 model on carsales and test drive it... and try what i suggested..

If you go manual, the purchase of a new gear knob makes a massive difference in shift feel. The stock one is too light, feels 'notchy'.
