So, I'm looking at getting some HIDs installed onto my car, but i know nothing about them. I would like to get a good reliable set of hb4 HIDs in 6000k, but I don't know who manufactures good ones.

Also, can I get anything decent for about $150 or below? I plan on mounting them myself, so the price doesn't include any professional installation.

Can anyone help?

Thanks.

+1 Xenon Xtreme. The owner is a bit of an ass wipe but his kits are pretty good.
Bought mine like close to 2 years ago. Still going strong, surprisingly. lol

I have kaixens from KZ trading. They're expensive but awesomer

Best thing to do is not the cheap out on bulbs - they're the important part that has the most control over glare

edit: nvm, he's not selling HID kits anymore..

LOL so all BMWs and even s2000 are all ricers.....
If you have them in projector in a nice and warm and white color, should be okay.....

I have warranty but the factory said my kit is due to misuse.... I guess they try not to replace.....
I throw it away man.... years already

Get the 70$ ones and then put it in yourself with some duct tape. You'll be right.

ebay HIDs are the best bang for buck. $50, never had a problem with them. VERY easy to install. I you know how to change a light globe, you are able to install the HIDs. Plus, there is a DIY on how to install HIDs in the DIY section.

I can understand that but some people like me cant afford a BMW with HID as standard and as well want the better vision with HID. Some people just DIY themselves without adjsuting the focus point. I saw many old cars with halogen just blind me out with wrong adjustment as well.

TypeG

Well some people decide to use it off road as well.....

So you're willing to justify yourself about using over bright un-angled lights that blind oncoming traffic just so you can see more?

Don't be an idiot and inconvienience other people, you can see fine with your stock lights otherwise they would not have been put into production.

I didn't call you an idiot, I said dont BE an idiot.

When you install HIDs in headlights that are not designed to take HIDs it puts them at an incorrect angle which blinds oncoming traffic.

Unless you do it correctly and modify your headlight casing, don't do it at all.

Ahhhh whatever, HID's are awesome! just don't go mega blue, that's ricey lol. I got really white ones (6000k) and they look awesome and give me great vision. Although I think they are a little bright so tomorrow I'm gonna angle them down a bit.

All good.... I reckon putting HID on projector equiped headlight is fine....... But on a car without projector... it is a MUSt to adjust it....

I find that the issues is that if i'm to eliminate glare completely by adjusting down, the beam cutoff is so low that it's dangerous
