Mornin All,
Just picked up a 92 Legend.
Always wanted a coupe, but the 5 year old monster that insists on comming with me just makes a 4 door simpler (still looking for that perfect 94 coupe though......)
My first official Honda (had a Rover 416i Vitesse some years ago - 4 dr Integra), and I'm pretty happy with her. White isnt my favourite colour, but a set of 17" wheels and 'maybe' the gold badging might pick the looks up a bit.
Mechanically she seems fine - just needs a new rear gearbox mount (bloody hell.....almost $300 from Burswood Honda, for a bit of metal and rubber).
Changed the oil - Royal Purple 10W40 and XcelPlus engine treatment (some dont like but it has always worked as advertised for me).
Changed the ATF fluid - I was a bit unsure at first, as everyone seems to recommend OEM fluid - but this is so different from what it was in the 90's, I went for Mobil1 AFT1 fully synthetic. Seems to work fine and the shifts are defiantly smoother....so we shall see how it goes.
Changed the coolant - Tectaloy Hiload Red. Always worked for me in the past.
New tyres - just some standard size cheapies at the moment until I decide what to do about wheels and tyres.
And a good clean, and she was done.
Everything works.
Everything in good condition for the age.
No complaints so far.
Now if I can only convince the Missuz that I need a coupe as well.......;)
