I started off with the OEM centre cap from the wheels of a VTI-S Jazz, pretty ordinary but T liked the OEM look with genuine honda badges intact. I intended on spraying it black to match my wheels, but again this is left to the imagination.

To start off i had to remove the badge, it is glued on with 2 washers compacted on the back, first I had to remove the washers, I just used a screw driver to pry it off. Once that is done you have to remove the glue, I recommend heating it up either with a heater/hairdryer/heatgun to ease up the glue as it is plastic and easy to break. This was the tedious as you have to be gentle and stick a stanley knife between the badge and the cap to cut through the glue, try to remove as much as you can in the process to avoid hassles later on. Once enough of the glue is removed, you can take off the badge by pushing on the 2 bolts, if it doesn't easily detach it means you haven't removed enough glue and it may risk breaking.

Once it has been removed you may find that there are glue remains, It would be advisable to remove this before proceeding as it may create an uneven surface when replanting the badge back onto the cap later on. Here I have cleaned up the badge.

Now we have to apply double sided tape, I used some really thin ones (got them from work, no idea about the brand) then stencil the badge before removing the other side of the tape. (You can also use glue, however I stuck with tape incase I wish to change the colour of the cap in the future)

You may find that you have some tape that is sticking out, you can neatly fold it back in, but try to keep it minimal as it will affect how flat it sits on the cap.

Here it is ready to be applied onto a centrecap, I cleaned the centrecaps with degreaser before spraypainting.

Once that has been done you can simply stick the Badge back onto the cap (or glue it) and secure the 2 washers onto the back

Set of 4, took around 1hr of my time.

How my car looked previously without a centrecap

With centrecap applied, again the colours involved are left up to the imagination, you can spray the badge or cap with any colour to stand out!

If you like it PQ me please :) Have fun guys!

nice write up, didn't think the silver badge would stand out so much.
