Hey guys first post here =D

I recently bought euro for my first car after a long ass search for a white one lol, i had previously bought a mugen lip kit before i got the car thinking i would get a preface lift model but an 06 pop'd up at a pretty good price and it was immaculate so i had to get it. I regretfuly sold the kit because it didnt need it anymore but now i've decided i want the preface lift Euro-R lip instead because it looks alot cleaner, less agressive than the mugen but it doesnt hang so low so im faced with the same problem. I was wondering if the facelift and preface bumpers are interchanable? i did some research and there are a few guys in america who have changed thier bumpers to the face lifted ones but is it possible to do it the other way around as in facelift to pre- facelift? is it a direct change aka bolt on? i know i will need a new grille but thats no biggy, and i dont want the bonnet trim so do i need to change the hood? or can i just keep it?

btw i have a lux so will there be a problem with headlight washers and foggies? thanks guys =]
ahahaha and here are some pics =D

you can interchange bumpers. the car is exactly the same as 03-05 euros minus a few cosmetic changes. so yes, u can fit an 03-05 bumper to an 06. it should be more or less a direct bolt on

a guy here had an 06 euro with the 03-05 mugen full bumper and that worked. cant see why it cant work the othey way.

regarding your HID washers, if u can find a 03-05 bumper with the cutouts then it should fit pretty much directly over it. if not, then it will need to be fabricated

why dont u just sell the mugen frnt lip and get an 06 euro lip instead? prob would be less hassle as well

Nice euro there, are those angel eyes, oracle kit? Anyways, from what i have researched, you can change bumpers from facelift to preface visa-versa, just got to get the matching grill, because 03-05 grill is different size to 06+, you will not need to change your hood unless you want the 03-05 hood with the hood trim. About the washers, i have no idea lol.

correct me if im wrong, but isnt the radioator plate and grill assembly different also? dont know if that will even make a difference :p
with the washers, maybe just get rid of them?
or even look at fabbing up the pre-face euro r lip to mate with the post-face bumper? would be fairly unique

Yes the radiator cover is different and the grill is different, so you would need to get those to complete a flush fit. Or you can play around with it, the head light washers shouldn't be problem.

yeah i was afraid of something like that =[ i was going to get a EuroR grille, saw one of jdmyard that comes with a radiator cover would that fit into a face lift or are the internals totally different? I was going to try and retro-fit the mugen lip, didnt look too hard ( the fog light covers seem like they can be removed from the bumper ) but realised the rear lip woulnt fit so i didnt want to get extra pieces lying around. I might try it with the EuroR lip =D looks do-able! lol but i might need to size up the lip in real life to see if its possible, anyone have one i can borrow? LOL

Do you need the CL7R radiator cover in order to fit the pre-face lift grille to an 03 euro?

just been reading this haha, so the facelift bumper would be pretty much a bolt on for a prefacelift euro? just worried about fogs but that should be fine right?
